Good to see kids no matter what sex enjoying firearms safely, had to laugh at the old .38 wheel gun thou, used to have to carry one of those back in the day before semi autos, they though cops would be able to defend themselves with that .....

Radar, now don't laugh at the "old ... wheel gun"! I trust my revolvers more than any autos I've got, even if I do carry an auto most of the time now. There is a Ruger Security Six that lives beside my bed because I KNOW it will work when things go bump in the night.

Aloys, are you talking about a revolver?!? Cleaning 1 revolver is like cleaning 6 semi-auto pistols!

No its not. A semi-auto requires field striping to clean proper. A revolver only needs the cylinder swung open.

and I never lost a spring cleaning a modern pistol. Cleaning a single revolver is like cleaning six Glocks. I started with revolvers then switched.

tuperware, the derogatory term for a Glock whose innovation now has spread to other pistols and revolvers!

Rollers: dont gotta chase brass
Auto-feeders: only gotta clean one hole. (that didn't sound right)
Bush-ette: needs a little work on the stance with the Colt...but I aint gonna teller that. Nope.
Grats on bringin' up them yunkers right and plus 1 on what ol El V said...hang them pics in the hall by the front door with a light on 'em..."make sure ya have her back by 9...." as ya steer her date past um...
Cleanin' the 1911 on the coffee table when said date comes to call has the same affect....sumpin' tell me ya aleady knew that- not that seein yer "cheerful" mug answer the door wouldn't cancel any notions of runnin' outta gas.

Shooting lessons again today and we DID work on the stance with the KIMBER. And we did shoot the Colt 1911. Firestar 9mmX19, Ruger .357 magnum. And the .38 Special.
Her shooting skills are improving, but sh still refuses to let me post a picture of the target.
ByTheWay...I usually had my Browning BSS 12 gauge on the table with two shells next to the open chambers.
