Sad Just another of the great gunmakers/designers of the 20th century lost to all time.
John Moses Browning,Eugene Stoner,Mikhael Kalashnikov.Without any of these three men's influence on firearms-America might not be free!

Well he had a good innings and made a difference for his country.
Fancy blaming people and politicians for killings and not the rifle, the man is a step above most of those currently in power.

His cutting edge design for the rifle he wanted to defend his countries borders is simplicity in itself...it is a shame he never benefited financially from his work.

As Pete said...he was before his time in recognising that people and Governments' are to blame for the world's troubles...not an inanimate object.

I don't think he cared much about making money ...
