Hello all I am a new member from Middle Tennessee. I have always been into firearms and since I served several years in the Military both USMC and the US Army I have really just been consumed with shooting. BUT all of my shooting for fun has always been at Targets (Paper or Steel) and then of course when it wasnt for fun it was in Iraq and Afgan. So I would like to start hunting. Mainly rifle well all rifle so with that said I may have alot of questions that relate to hunting that may seem very basic to you guys so please bear with me and try not to think I am a DA. I have a good understanding of Ballistics, I reload and all just never Hunting Varmints or Big Game so if you have any advice please let me know.

I also own a website which is related to shooting, hunting, reloading and military gear so if you ever need anything I would be happy to give any member of this site a discount well worth your while and if it is ok with the folks that own this site I'd be happy to do Discounted Group buys at near my cost to help everyone and anyone. If anyone can let me know who the Boss man is I would like to ask about advertising here as well. I hope to be a long time member as long as my hunting questions dont get me laughed out of here. again I dont know much about the Game I'd like to hunt yet.

If you have a gun, slingshot or bow and know how to shoot it, hunting can be pretty much what you want to make it. Here are some links to a few of my "big game" hunting adventures.

Death in the Long Oregano Near the Short Grass

Another Groundhog Goes to Heaven

2008 South Africa Hunting Trip

Yea, I know. Sometimes I have too much time on my hands.

Welcome. If you have questions, just ask. Someone on the board will pretty likely have an answer...and sometimes you might get more answers than you can handle! Enjoy the board and "welcome" again!

Like they say in the millitary, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. Pull up a stump and grab a beer. What are you hunting with?

Welcome! You have landed in one of the friendliest places on the Web (except for Chambered221 Very Happy )

You have to Read Robert Ruark's "Old Man and the Boy". It is a great story and it is filled with hunting and outdoors information.

Tennessee should have ample opportunities for you to learn the hunting game. I would see if your state DNR has a Hunter safety/training class for new hunters. A lot of kids take it but when my son and nephew went through, I sat in on the class with them and learned a lot. Plus some states require you to have that certification to get an out of state license.

I checked out your web sight , looks like some good stuff! Good price on the once fired Primed LC brass. Do you process that yourself?
