You won't believe who came to visit me this afternoon. I was checking the garden and got a little nudge from behind, looked back and there was old yellow wagging her tail and smiling at me. She followed me all over the yard while I watered the garden, trees, and flowers. Now she is resting on the porch. I wonder if she is planning on spending the night again.

I think dogs are pretty good judges of character. Or they just know a sucker when they see one! Wink

Really I think you did good there. I look out for our neighbors' dogs, as I hope they will mine.

Well done Wiersay...but nothin' less than what I would expect from any of the guys on here...all good peoples.

Dogs are brilliant judges of character...no two ways about that. Just keep an extra food and water bowl out for her and let her owners know she is always welcome and will be looked after. I'm sure they will appreciate your care.

Cheers, Vince

Dogs need to chew, especially puppies. Can't fault them for that. Wink

Perhaps its time to invest in a few of those rope toys for dogs so he can chew on?

Thanks to my wife and grandaughter he has a wide variety of chew toys. Yup...Teething [for the next several months].

When I found one of my slippers in the front room and the other coming around the corner with a dog attached to it. I figured it was time [for me] to place all my "stuff" out of harms way. Laughing

The "rescue dog" my wife got a while back ate THREE pairs of my moccasins, not to mention a bunch of other stuff. He is the most destructive little SOB we ever had. I keep closing doors, others keep leaving them open. He did survive the brake fluid, insecticide and antifreeze that he dragged out of the utility room somehow. However, if he lives, I think he'll be a good dog.

My freakin' bluetick ate a 94" couch. No kidding. The biggest piece left was smaller than a basketball. Softball-sized pieces of foam and bits of the wood framing everywhere.

That was a long time ago. The two hounds I have now never really chewed up anything they weren't supposed to. Maybe they're better behaved because they came from an Amish farm?? They sure are more spolied than their brothers and sisters.
