Hi Guys, Im wanting to ask my local newsagent to try and get me a couple of American hunting mag's so I need to know which are the best. I remember Field and stream And 1001 secrets from when I was a kid but there must be many more good mag's over there. Most of the magazines here get repetitive after a while with more addvert's than news. I'd like to see some different add's for a change.

Petersens HUNTING is a pretty decent magazine if you dont get tired of whitetails on the cover or reading Craig Boddington all the time,I think he writes 3-4 articles per issue. The only hunting magazines I subscribe to now are bowhunting magazines.

It depends. You mentioned Field & Stream and I would add Outdoor Life and American Hunter from the NRA. All the best...
