That's the second most cranky ram I've seen, a place I used to shoot at had a cranky old ram who KNEW he owned the joint, you took your eyes off him at you own peril, you generally only ignored him once.

I can recall a male swan that lost its mate to a man in a boat (not me). That swan attacked any boat that was in the area. He would jump into the boat and attack the operator. I had to beat him out of my boat on several ocassions with an oar.

Many years ago, our Infantry Battalion had a Merino ram as a mascot. He was addicted to tobacco and had a ration of one 2oz pack a week to eat. If he didn't get his 'baccy when he wanted it, he would be downright nasty, probably worse than this guy, but there was no way you could fend him off...if he lined you up, you went down...hard.

He left many a soldier bruised or with corked thighs.
