Book Review - Manhunt

When I travel or relax I enjoy a good book; on my travels to Aussie I picked up the Book "Manhunt - the ten year search for Osama Bin Laden". by Peter Bergen at Auckland Airport (NZ).
Whilst a non fiction narrative, the author is one of only a few reporters to meet OBL in person and therefore qualified to speak, he's got lots of insider details and it's all in all an interesting read.
Whilst we all agree that OBL was a terrorist and psychopath it gives a fair oversight on the whole Jihadist movement and how it has unravelled since.

I think that it gives the reader an idea on how much the US wanted him dead and what it cost - both in time and effort to make our world a lot more safer.

Read with an open mind.

Is Oz actually that boring?

Not that Aussie is boring; but I always have difficulty adjusting to time difference (yeah 2 hours might be silly for some of you) so a read for 2 hours is just what the doctor ordered and over 7 days/nights thats a fair amount of time to read........plus I was looking after my nephews and niece and thats taxing!!!! I needed to de-stress!

that would take me on average 6 hours to read. so 2 nights would kick it or 1 wet arvo Very Happy
