The murder rate matters little except as it can be used to force the gun grabbing agenda. It's all about government control over those of us with the wherewithal to defend ourselves.

Good report, but we already knew that stuff, and the folks who did the research will probably be discredited and labeled potential terrorists just like us.
The Fed doesn't care about us killing each other it doesn't want guns because it makes them nervous. Like our now radicalized Founding Fathers, people with radical and extremist ideologies can become a problem to current governments.
If the Fed were really concerned about murder it would outlaw abortion, far more people are kill legally each year than by citizen owned firearms.
Oh, and here's an idea; according to FBI statistics 71% of all homicides are committed by people between the ages of 13 to 34, and further we now know that the human brain is not fully developed till the mid to late 20's so if abortion is acceptable then if these young people are become a nuisance then----
The Fed is going to do what it wants to gain power and control. and lie all the way to the bank while doing it. And, I am pretty sure there is no real difference between the party's anymore.

The federal government only has limited power - even now - but if we wait too long their power will grow and ours will be diminished.
Write your congress critters and keep writing. pester them all until they know you by name.
Above all vote! It hasn't seemed to make any difference which of the two main parties are in office so vote Libertarian!
