The Midwest was pounded with over 70 tornadoes during the day. From the damage I saw, some were F4 in strength. Hope all you HuntingNuts and your loved ones are ok.

Yah the weather is bad lately..
I sure hope Midwest Nuts and their loved ones keep safe and well.

And add South Queensland Nuts to that wish too, what with tennis ball sized hails coming down from the sky, things does look bad indeed...

RUOK Vince?

Is Vince ok? Read his jokes lately, you decide.
The weather pattern up here has regressed to what it was 20 years ago, the 2 to 4 pm thunder storm. Pot luck whether you get hail.
Still I'd rather face hail than a tornado, did that once in a caravan park in Springfield Illonoise back in the early 1970s and have no wish to do it again.
Best wishes to all those effected by the tornados across the US, hopefully minimal casulties.
Isnt it a bit late in the season for tornados? Especially this many this size?

Yup...all good here Gelan. My 14 yr old Grandson and I spent the weekend at our Clay Target Club keeping three traps full of targets for our annual two day shoot. Both days were dry, with the heat and humidity being oppressive on Saturday...I drank about 6 litres of water. Sunday was more agreeable and the only rain we got was at about 4pm, and then it was only a few spots of rain...not enough to wet the ground.

Funny thing about Redcliffe...the storms seem to split up and go either side of the city...unless they come from the south, then we get hammered.

We have been getting the late afternoon thunderstorms with about 15 - 20 minutes of heavy rain every day for the past week...but the days are dry. I'm not complaining though...the light shows from the storms are spectacular and the lawns and gardens desperately needed the rain.

I hope and pray that all of our mates who live in tornado alley are safe and well after the tornadoes the other day.

75* all day yesterday with 40 mph winds. Not a cloud in the sky. All good here.

Way too close for my comfort. Washington is about 75 miles west and Gifford about 15 miles north west. No damage here but a lot of wind and rain.

Just as I type about hail in QLD, a mini TORNADO strike the other side of Sydney from me in Hornsby.
15 hurt, a few trees uprooted, cinema roof and buildings blown off.
Here is the news Scary!!
