I think he needs the towel on his shoulder instead of the front rest. Nice video.

And the results are?

Testing the group.

My right shoulder has been bothering me for 2 or 3 months now; who knows from what. I thought shooting was going to hurt and it didn't. In fact my shoulder felt better the next day and still feels better than it had.

The results are about 2 inches at 100 yards for 3 shot groups. That's with H4831SC. I have another batch of cartridges loaded up for testing with VV N160. If I can get the group size down to an inch or a bit less, I'll be happy.

Did you use magnum primers for N160? Up here as an unwritten rule, N160 and everything slower ALWAYS magnum primers.

The only primer I use in the really big ones are Federal 215M (yes, magnum primers made originally with the big Weatherby cartridges in mind).

Never too old to learn... didn't know the Fed. 215M, only the 210M. So they also have a magnum match primer. Good to know.

BTW: 2" at 100 yards with such a caliber and fear in the shoulder... I would already be happy.

my shoulder is getting sore just reading the calibre!!!!!!!
look at your end game for rifle is it going to be under 300yards only with majority of shots 100 or less?????
if so 2" will get you a full freezer without punching anymore paper, just find projectile that you have faith in and go from there.
personally I would rather not fire big cannon at paper any more than absolutely needed.
