Dallan,
Great software! Can you give me the calculation definitoins for Max-Y and total drop? I am not sure I understand how to use those columns. |
MaxY and Total Drop arent needed by 99% of the users out there. MaxY is the bullets path if there were no gravity. This value is actually used in computing an angled trajectory (something that will be in the new version of PointBlank). Total drop is the path of the bullet from a perfectly horizonal barrel.

A feature I like on another ballistics software is come up clicks. It is a calculation that gives you the number of clicks to come up from your current zero to hit at the specified distance. It compensates for the # of clicks per MOA on your scope and turns inches in to minutes in clicks. Below is an example from biggameinfo.com Can you squeeze that into your data base too?
58 grain V-Max .243
Range yds 300 350 400 450 500
Path in -2 -6.7 -13.2 -21.9 -33.1
ComeUp clicks 3 7 13 19 25 |
Yes its been frequently asked for and it will be in the new version of PointBlank.
