You know, if you take the time we've had accurate weather recording divided by the time life has existed on earth its like saying that you can determine the "average" weather for today based on what happened during the last 5 milliseconds...

I had to read twice to grasp the magnitude of your statement.

The only thing controlling weather on this orb is the big yellow thing in the sky.
In the 1970's they were bleating about global COOLING.
Next it was global warming, but they got caught lying, so now we have "climate change" got to maintain the fear after all.
The only thing they ignore is the climate isnt a static system, it continually changes.
Anything the UN has it's sticky fingers in is dodgy as is the rest of that WOFTAM organisation.
I think I need another beer, cheers and goodnight.

Well we gotta pay for that free junior college and free internet somehow so lets just conclude that man-made climate change will get us scramblin for more tax dollars, we've already got the Europeans on board (remember how they helped us with universal health care?) so we gotta return the favor. We might be able to fit in a water pipeline to the southern hemisphere (share the wealth sort of deal) no reason we all have so much and others have so little, it just ain't fair.
Change we can believe in.......a dirty diaper has a stench....tax payers will dole out $50,000 a year for each ObamaCare subsidy recipient.....free community college about $60billion over 10 yrs.....free and open net-neutral internet?....well that's to ensure fairness....you know like Google and Netflix getting to pay bigger for faster content, or you can read that as a new tax..... or you can just sit back and not think about it.....just get some new free stuff from the government......hey Obama, could you please pay off my mortgage and get me a new car? send my kids to college so they don't have to work for it?

I kinda like this climate change. It has been in the upper 20's and 30's here in Minnesota, there is no snow left on the ground and I still have 24" of ice on the lake I fish. Of course we had snow early this year and an early long cold snap where we didn't get above 0 for a couple weeks. I am sure we will get our fair share of snow yet this winter. I will have to find the latest Farmers Almanac, at least it's interesting reading.

Hey Bushy, all is good in the household I've been busy remembering all the things I used to do before I started school. My wife has pretty much become a fishing widow. I have been on the ice every night for the past three weeks. most nights I catch my limit of crappies within the time frame that it takes me to dring 2 or 3 beers. (Beer is a critical time keeping component in ice fishing) Other nights I drink my beer as I watch the minnow race around the hole with my bobber. Either way it beats the h3ll out of school work or sitting mindlessly in front ot the TV.
Tomorrow I go in for knee surgery, just to clean out debris, gring, buff and polish. Just another refurb to get me by until I am old enough to have them replaced. Thats the first time in a long time anyone has told me I'm not old enough foer something.
I'll be hanging around more often now that life is getting back to the abnormal that we know around here.

Not old enough? Had a cute young thing at Wally-World card me for a case of beer the other day. I'm 72. I'm in love...Don't tell the wife though.
