That, Vince, is the reason we are pushing for "voter ID" cards.

That, right there, is a problem for me bushy. I am an American citizen and I don't need to show my "papers" to anyone! I registered to vote when I was 21 - that was before you could vote at 18. I have only had to show it about three times - after that I have been voting with absentee ballots. They mail me my ballot and I fill it out and drop it in the collection box down the street.

Unless I am pulled over for a traffic infraction or under arrest I don't have to tell them who I am.

Let's see Paul...I have a photo drivers license. I have a CCW (photo) permit. I have my retired photo military ID card. Oh yes. I even [still] have my NAVSEA security photo ID card

That's 4 ID cards with my picture on them. And worst of all my SSN is posted all over the place because it's also my military service number.

To quote a very infamous person..."What difference does it really make!"...

Besides...Missouri has already sent me my voter ID card.

Tremblay. I enlisted in January 1964 and retired October 1986. I, too, have two service numbers. I was in long enough to be there when they changed it to SSN.

Do you still remember your SN? Mine was 774 35 15.

I really don't have any problem showing an ID to vote. After reading how certain counties voted 100+% for our current president it only makes sense. There are WAY too many stories about election fraud for me to worry about showing someone my driver's license.
