read this book !

I just finished reading a book by Stephen Hunter, and man what a great read. He has done several books about a WWII vet and a sniper (the WWII vets son) in Vietnam. These were great fiction, but this new one is non-fiction.

The new book is "American Gunfight, The plot to kill Harry Truman and the gunfight that stopped it"

An amazing plot and some real heroes that stopped the assasination of the President.

If you have read it, I would love to hear your comments, if you have not read it, I highly recommend it.

I will have to try to get a hold of that book.I read a article about that incident in a history magazine a while back.I just got done reading a great book(the best book I ever read) you would probably enjoy it.Its called "Visions from a Foxhole,a Rifleman in Pattons Ghost Corps" by William Foley. Its a nonfiction firsthand account of the fierce fighting in the final months of the European theater in WW2.
