you might notice her "body armour" she is a pig dog and a specialist "holder" the decal on the window is rather common around these parts...if you ever have the horror of watching a dog die after getting 1080 poison into its system you will know why...our four footed friends are extremely vunerable to it,I recently read the most common way they cop a dose ISNT from eating a bit of possum carcase as I thought but rather from rolling in/on it then cleaning themself later.

I had never heard of 1080 Poison before. Had to google it.

Wow

It is EVIL stuff mate, and cruel beyond comprehension. It’s a deadset shame it’s so effective on feral dogs etc otherwise it would be banned.

The only pest animals I'll poison are rats & only if I can't get them with the air rifle & am able isolate the poison from other animals.
Anything else that needs killing deserves the quickest death I can deliver & that means shooting. Heck, I even shoot the rats that are caught in my cage traps.

saw some hard case rat traps in miter10 totay...they use an elascarator type rubber ring (lambs tails n nuts) the rat crawls into tunnel and triggers it putting a rubber ring around itself....death would be matter of seconds no matter what part or body it was squeezing!!!!

Elvis,
What would keep the rat from chewing the band in half?
Never seen such a thing so I'm in the dark here... Sad

same thing that would stop you cutting it off your.......whatever you were dumb enough to put one on...intense pressure and pain......a couple of shepherds thought it would be a good joke to slap one on the young shepherd for a laugh, thinking they could just cut it off again......epic fail he bolted and by time they got to him it too late, needless to say he couldnt father children. the opening inside these rings is about 1/4" when they in relaxed state so a 1 1/2" round rat in BIG trouble,it would literally have the stuffing squeazed out of it.no way it could breath or even move....knew I shouldve taken photo of the thing!!!

Yep, an Elastorator would do a real number on a rat mate, and I reckon it would be almost instantaneous too.
