Hey Mike,
I didn't think you could have guns in your possession in England.
How did you get a picture of them on your bed?

Meh - common misconception.

There's more...

...plus I had this until 18 months back...

...& one other that's legal but upsets gun grabbers in the UK, so no photo.

Dunno why the AI photo's sideways. Scratch

Well, I learned something new and I feel better about the UK.
Thank you for the information!
All very nice guns too. Is that a double rifle on the far right or a side by side shotgun?

It's a 1949 Beretta SxS with a bit of history. Bought in Italy by Colonel Miroslav Vitali of the Polish Home Army after serving with 2 Polish Corps after he escaped there from a German concentration camp late in the war.
It was passed on to his nephew & my friend, Jacek Kaminski, who in turn left it to me along with the Accuracy International & other things (well, everything actually) in his will.

Hope I don't disturb the fun, but they are sending a new bolt for your rfle without mentioning to check it out with "go" and "no-go" -gauges???
One can exchange the bolts of all K-98's, but once they did it with mine (which I just bought and had real pitting on the bolt's surface)… it resulted in a lot of headspace and I had the lugs of the bolt welded up and refitted…
it's not to scare you, just to say to pay attention to this. It's a very nice rifle and it should not be "ruined" by such a moment of less attention.

Forgot to mention that changing the bolt is the same as switching barrels, in that the barrel has to be loosened in the action, the bolt inserted & closed, then the barrel clamping screws re-tightened. This is what ensures everything is within spec.
