since my other tread was hijacked .
i seen on ebay this leicas a fev of them they are 10x42ba for around 500$ and cheaper new model is called bn ... they are new when i check with leica its an older model but they look exacly like the new ones .. dos any one have a pair that could tell me more about this? price is too good to be true .......still thinking about monarch 10x42s...... but if this are real leicas..... who knows

On Ebay check the sellers ratings. If he is new seller with few ratings your caution is well founded. If he has been around for a while and has good reviews you can trust the product or someone would have blasted him in the reviews. Leica glass is outstanding and it is my understanding the Sworski owns them.

i have pair of 10X42 leicas and wouldn't trade them for anything...IMO the finest binos you can buy. will beat the pants off any nikon.

seller has 1000+positiv feed back... yet some thing just dosnt seem right

Hi YZCHAMP.....BN's are close focussing....both have the same coating and waterproof seals. I believe the basic diff is the focussing mechanism.

just got a letter from ebay it was a scam... glad i didnt get it...what raised the flag there was lots of this binoculars for sale really cheap by diffrent sellers byt they all had same pictures in the info.............
