Howdy. For someone looking for a reasonably priced and very nice muzzle loader you can't beat these guns. The break open design allows primeing with your fingers they use the 209 shotgun primer, one piece stainless breech plug, easy to clean and they shoot very well ( mine does). Fluted barrel and i got mine for $289 in todays market i think thats a reasonable amount. here is a pic of mine. www.huntingnut.com/ind...ge&pid=148 Very Happy

I always got a chuckle when I saw pictures of fluted barreled muzzleloaders. Dont get me wrong, they look neat but half the guys toting them around have no idea why guns get fluted in the first place, something a ML doesnt exactly need Smile

Still sounds like a nice gun!
