Kauko, how are you mate?
Can you please let all of your hunting mates up there in Finland know to keep an eye out for the jolly fat fella in the red suit, Santa Claus, and please don't bring him down thinking that he would make a good trophy...he has to deliver my Christmas pressie.
Seriously though mate, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Cheers, Vince

Wishing everyone a SAFE visiting season or for those who prefer(such as myself) MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!.
As far as the new "gun," does a new jerky gun count? I have allready used it too, infact got the second batch of Bourbon BBQ hamburger in the dehydrator right now(burned the first batch, but the rodents, co-workers, at work will eat it just the same) so I need to make a new batch should be done about 10or 11PM then I get to cut it up and and package for the trip to Grand Island, NE. OH WHAT FUN IT WILL NOT BE!!! I do not care for my in-laws and they are tolerable in small doses for me and probably for them as well in regards to being around me! SO it is mutual!! HA HA HA!!!
Again stay safe and be smart with the celebrating! Skoal OR 7-3's.

Arron...Ye lucky. You only have one set of in-laws. I have two sets of in-laws. The first set refused to divorce me when I got rid of their daughter...All good though.
Yup...I prefer MERRY CHRISTMAS too...
jsmurphy...Yup I remember those days when I was stationed in Seattle. Nice beautiful weather all the way up to the 4th of July weekend then pouring down rain. Yup...I remember. It's 18* and clear blue skies here this morning after a small ice storm last night...

We had our family get together Christmas Eve. One of the best in memory. EVERYBODY made it!
What a blast! Nine grandkids underfoot, noise level at the top of the known scale, mothers saying "That's not a hurt cry, they're just playing."
Sounded like somebody was being killed, to me...
BIG hugs from the 15 year old granddaughters, telling stories on each other, as well as the traditional Christmas stories for the young'uns. Three big tables full of folks, grilled tri-tip, and other delicious goodies, coconut cream pie, and LEFTOVERS! And everyone got home safely in a nasty snowstorm.
My son even liked the knife and sheath I made him!
Did I mention life is GOOD?
The blessings just keep coming.
