Some folks have WAY too much time on their hands... Does that thing really fit in the definition of "handgun"?

Several years ago I saw a husky gentleman as he showed his new handgun, a derringer in 45-70. It seemed well made, but, IT WAS A 45-70! And, this was his first opportunity to shoot it. Two of us advised against it. His ammo -- 405gr commercial.
Upon firing the derringer snapped his wrist back and continued by the laws of nature and momentum, striking him above the right eye. He was on the gound knocked cold with blood streaming down his face. About the time the paramedics arrived, he was coming to and I couldn't resist asking him if he wanted to fire the second barrel.
Now comes the Nitro @ 13+ pounds and $40 per round. I would pay reasonable money to see someone fire it. Preferably, one handed. Oh, my.

Wow! And I thought wanting a .480 Ruger was going big for me!
If you can't control it then you shouldn't carry it. I think I would just get a 416 Rigby or 458 Lott-in a full stocked rifle of course.
