Found these guys the other day. They were a little camera shy though.
Hopefully this winter will be a little easier on them. They last two were devastating on the herd numbers.

Its been a little chilly up your way, moose2. I expected to see more snow than that. They had 40" in Syracuse NY last weekend. Oh, great picture!

Slimjim, we have plenty enough snow here and cold. Was -6 last night.
With all the wind we have, alot of the slopes get exposed. That where you find most of the wildlife. When we get to much snow, and the slopes can no longer be exposed, is when the die offs start. So far so good here.

Now given the time of year the photo was taken I agree with Vince and I'd say she is a tad pregnant? Like about 3-4 months gone of an 8 month gestation period.
