Hi guys I wonder if someone could list for me the north american deer species . Smallest to largest and how do they compare to european deer.

We get some good sized whitetails in Michigan, not often, but the biggens usually dress at 200 lbs +.

As stated deer size varies with region but generally it goes

Whitetail
Blacktail
Mule Deer
Caribou
Elk

You left out one Dallan. The smallest is the Key deer in Florida.

"Key" deer are a subspecies of Whitetail like "Blacktail" is a subspecies of Mule Deer.

My coues last Month just weighed may be 75-80 lbs.
The average Doe only is 50-65 Lbs . Some times they will get a Buck
that will go 100 Lbs.
