well guys the day started off well enough at work I got through the morning bit fine but then the trouble started.... first off I was under a trailer in the workshop pit and had just finished greasing it up. we jacked it up to check the wheel bearings all good I let the air jack down and start to walk backwards to the next axle. well the jack is up at face height on a rolling platform and all goes well till I look back to make sure I dont trip over anything.. the jack touches a dorky little rubber flap hanging down under the trailer Shocked

and falls off the other side of the platform so I stick my foot out to stop it hitting the concrete sort of trying to deflect it a bit it comes up short on the air hose and instead of hitting my steel cap it bashes the crap out of my shin wtf

well that was that wont do it again thats for sure a little blood and a good bruise. well the rest of the day went fine right up till I went to drive the old landcruiser over the pit to drop off a battery Embarassed

yip you guessed it Embarassed

I lined it up just like the truck and forgot it was heaps narrower and dropped the front wheel in the pit Embarassed

what a dork!!!! well I put a jack under it and then took it out and my workmate just hooked on behind and towed me out Embarassed

I guess that will cost me a box of beer. could have been a major but I got away with a red face and no damage.

OK, so your mind was not on work, it was obviously elsewhere and doing something much more important or at least more pleasurable than greasing a trailer.

So what were you thinking about? Now, please remember that if a trailer falls on you that thing that was on your mind won't be happening.

I enjoy reading your posts, and would like to continue. Please be more careful.

thanks guys its nice to be around you lot too. the stags are getting ready to roar and duckshooting is in less than 2 months so I could have been distracted.I will be more carefull.
