This would be awesome fun...but I'll let the video speak for itself.

Looks like total fun!! I can't hit anything with a shottie but that would make it more fun to learn.

Bugger you Vince.
I can just see the look on the QLD SSAA presidents face when I ask him to approve this for field shotgun.
Would be great if only to piss off the cops, asio/ federal cops (explosives involved), casa because it flies and the greens just because some ones enjoying themselves.

Haha Haha Haha Haha

Ain't that the truth mate...no shortage of land off to the left of the 300m Range at Ripley mate...we could have a ball there. I'm sure that we could substitute something for the "puff of smoke" that would provide immediate response and gratification to the shooter. Maybe pictures of Greens that unfold as they are hit and fall. Very Happy Very Happy Laughing Laughing

wooow, first time I've heard of this but it seems pretty sophisticated. They've designed these to protect the engine and can be repaired rather quickly.

Hey Stovey......... First round is on me !!!

They probably don't taste as good as quail but at least you won't have to walk so much and re-shine your boots when we're done !!! Poke

I am not sure I understand why they call it "gnat shooting". OK, I understand the shooting part but that thing is a lot bigger than a gnat. The "puff" targets they use seem to be the same size as clay pigeons. Does the craft fly faster than 60 mph? Pigeons can fly that fast. I guess I don't get it.

BTW, I am in no way saying that it is easy or that I could do it - more than likely I could not. I would have a better chance hitting it with my 30-06 than with a shotgun.

Aloysius, I watched that whole video a couple of years ago. They had quad 50s and quad mounted chain guns - everything you will ever want to fire and those small RC planes to try to hit. It was even better after the sun started to set. The plane had a light on it and the guns were lighting the sky up with tracer rounds.
