Well played that man. Can't wait to show SWMBO.
Very very funny, I'm sure my good wife likes my Deck which I cleaned and polished for her while she was in America - true that!
Im now going to hunt for a good Aussie twang by way of retribution …… actually a great master of the Aussie twang is currently making a spectacle of himself in London Courts isn't he….tie me kangaroo down sport? two little boys had two little toys? (sorry, a bit low even for me)

Its an anzac thing Bushy.
Rugby is a near religion in the land of the long white cloud and the Haka is a revered part of the kiwi pre game fire up and is important in the NZ Maori culture.

Quite impressive when 15 guys the size of thee guys give you this effort before a game. None of them are under 100 kg.
The previous post video is an Australianised reply and pisstake, that once again got under the skin of the kiwis, IIRC it just fired them up and we copped another flogging.

And for some reason it's not considered rude to make fun of Maori culture. It's not a question, it's a statement. I've noticed racism, as we see it in the USA, doesn't translate the same elsewhere. It doesn't offend me, but doesn't amuse me. I see it all the time and it's like watching a good comedian bomb on every joke. To each, his own, I guess.

Suz have a look and find some Billy T James...one of NZs funniest men taken before his time...we Kiwis take the piss out of ourselves and he was very very good at it..and being a maori made it ok for him to take piss of his own..most were ok with it , but he copped a bit of flack too.
Im a 27th generation X bred Kiwi and have filled in forms stating such forever. you cant put me into any ethnic group as I fit into more than one..as such I take the piss out of everyone, like it or lump it buddy its who I am could well be a family motto

No need to defend your position, I understand. It's just that in my world you respect your brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers to the utmost. If you want to bad-mouth someone you bad-mouth people you don't know and you disrespect, not your kin, they are sacred. When you say it's like a sort of teasing among family members, well....we don't do that. Maybe it's a tribal thing, the television is full of rude obnoxious families.....I should just sit back and eat more popcorn...

Suz,
When I first arrived, I was completely bewildered of the amount of overt animosity.
Then one Sunday I was invited to a bbq and lo, all of them were there.
Apparently the mud slinging is the way OZ and Kiwis tease each other.. a kind of manly way of saying I love You..
Its like eating durian, once you get pass the stink, within is a smooth sweet flavor.

I grew up in a family of 8 brothers and 3 sisters - yep - 12 kids each one, 1 at a time, and mom weighed about 95 pounds unless she was pregnant. We would fight and bicker and tease each other all the time. Right up until somebody from outside the family started in. We were a force to be reckoned with for sure!
