Tremblay, I spent 5 days in your fine State the end on June first few days of July. The wife and I had never been to Missoula, what a nice place to visit, great scenery and friendly people as usual in the State of Montana. We had a very good time...

those are tiny..the ones on West coast carry you off to their lair in the hills and its no use hiding together in a tent either...they just whistle up a few more mates and carry the whole shebang away!!!!

Yup...Know the breed. In Oregon we have two kinds of mosquitoes. Those that can fly through a screen and those that just knock down the whole door.

Tremblay...Ya got any "noseeums" in Montana? I was up in the Bitterroots just south of Hamilton a few year ago on horseback and didn't see any.

"noseeums" Bushy...they sound like what we call midgies out here. Little tiny black bugs that bite like buggery, suck blood, cause a mongrel itchy welt and are small enough to go through fly screens.

Hey Trembles...what size shot ya use on a swarm like that mate? I reckon an ounce and a half of #10 or #12 shot would do some damage mate. If that don't work, get the flamethrower out...now that would be fun.

Damn mossies must be evolving in my neck of the woods...it's freezing cold and the buggers are still buzzing around.
