Neat Duce.
As far as I know the US Military only uses the M82/M107 (same rifle just modified) rifles for their 50BMG sniper rifles. The M107 has been shown by the US Army a variety of Day, Night, and Thermal scopes. Has a listed range of 1,500 meters (almost 1,650 yards) against personal targets.

Tracker,
You are right and the decade of Jean Cretian and Paul Martin didn't help at all when it came time to go to Afghanistan.
Atleast they are getting more money now. I'd rather see my income taxes go to help equip the troops with what ever they need to do the job at hand then to go to lazy people who don't want to work who are milking the welfare system.

Oh don't get me started on leaches, moochers and welfare recipients...Nothing like the "whoo-is-me" crowd..."it's someone else's fault I'm in this fix and can't feed, clothe or house myself". I was taught the "beans, jeans and roof" theory by my Father. These were the first things at the top of the list. THEN what was left over was for fun or "wants"

I just had another talk with my son and he told me he will bring home some of the empty casings from his rifle for me. So he will be home in October for 2 weeks and I think we will have a giveaway of some of the casings and maybe get him to ( if he remembers) the story behind the casing and where he was and why he shot that round! So when time gets closer I will post another thread and we will have a open drawing for how many casings he brings home. But I get to keep the one of my choice...............................
He knows of this web site and can read it but not post here so he can read what we post.
