Mike....I've been running Vista for about 8 - 9 months now and have not had anything like a problem with it. But then again, I am not a geekish type that tries to extract the best possible performance out of the software.

I heard all of the negative hype about Vista, but the computer I bought came loaded with it and to date, everything is running smoothly.

I really wish you XP guys would get over it!!!
Of all the people I’ve talked to about the Vista system I’ve only found a hand full that has had any trouble like I have. All of them being the earliest ones on the market.
And besides that it’s not the system itself that has given me the troubles.
If Microstupid would check their updates a little better before sending them out a lot of this wouldn’t have happened to begin with.

I've dealt with Windows 98, 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Vista.

By far the best one for stability and use was 2000 (all the great powerful features of NT but with the compatibility of XP related programs and software, which was a issue with NT), next comes XP, dead last comes ME, .... now you may be wondering about Vista .... it comes just before ME. Wink
