Joe, If no one is able to help try calling or E-mailing them !!! I'm almost positive they will E-mail you specific load data.

Based on Hodgdon data above and below 65 gr bullets, it looks like you will be safe between 24.0 and 26.0 grains. That should get you started, and because each rifle is different, you have to work up your own loads anyway.

I push that same bullet with 23.6 gns of benchmark. I know you want to use varget, but I just thought you might be interested.
I also looked in my manual but it is pre varget too.

Joe, are you going to switch from the Barnes to the Sierra GK for deer?

With the 1:8 twist, you could stabilize the 70gr TSX also. That would be the one I think I would prefer to use for deer, especially seeing the results you got with the 62gr TSX.

I may try some of the 70 grain TSX's as well I want to put a few different one's through it and see what it likes.

I got some of the 53gr TSXs but not sure when I'll get to shoot them. I also found that I had to shorten the COAL on the 62gr TSX to make sure they weren't touching the lands. I figured out that when I ejected an unspent round and found marks and the bullet COAL had increased. That is one of the nice aspects of the Barnes bullets. You can quickly realize changes in bullet seating depth by how much of the band is showning.

Joe in my experiance, the 60gr Partition is a Little HAMMER in the .223. It WILL put down a Michigan Deer if the shooter does his part, with shot placement. Dont think the Deer there are any bigger than here.
