I haven't seen this before. I just received a hard-bound special edition Cabela's catalog with tabs for each specialty section. Wow!

Thanks Mike, I was just making fun of the whole situation.
Aussies being on the top of the world are geographically challenged.
Here we haven't got Cabela's, and if we are going to import stuff,
even if the seller willing to export, it would cost us WAY more than it worth.

gelandangan, you've got to see one of these stores. 15 years or so ago, I stopped in their one main store in Kansas, now they are spread across the country with a new one about 20 miles from my house. Its a sight to see. I would take my neighbor's little boy there and we'd call it going on a "safari"!

I love Cabela's!
The closest store is a 3hr. drive for me, but definitely worth it. I can spend the day wandering around the store, and not feel the least bit guilty. My wife, and daughter love all the animal displays, and the aquarium, and you can even have lunch it the restaurant. If there is stuff on sale, they will scour the store for a bargain (which sometimes works out in my favor). I will have to make a few more trips there, I want to get A hard cover catalogue too.

cbs, do you have a Cabela's credit card? I think that's why I got a hard-bound catalog. I signed up over Christmas and got $120 off my purchase of a rifle plus I get 1% back (2% from a Cabela's purchase) that I use to treat myself. Got a laser range finder last year. Probably a GPS unit this year. |

Our Cabelas is 45 minutes to an hour, depending on if the circle jerks are raceing at M.I.S or not. Its a cool place to visit, but my wife sure hates it when I do.

My wife likes going there. She buys her hiking clothes and boots at Cabela's.

We have at least one here in Canada now since Cabela's bought out S.I.R in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I used to be a regular customer at S.I.R. mail order and now Cabela's. Nice store with good prices and "Great" service, so far!

I like Cabelas. I dont agree that their prices are good! I take their catalog to some local dealers and they go out of their way to beat Cabelas prices!
