Yipee!!! I finally shot my first deer!!!!
This has been my first season ive gone out deer hunting!
ok this is how it happened:
it was a dark and lonely night, 
no seriously it was the 2nd last day of the season and it was getting dark outside. i was sitting on a ridge with my trust .300 win mag, set up my bipod and aiming down the ridge waiting for the unfortunate deer to cross my sights!!! i was aiming down a small path in the woods going down into the valley with a small creek on the bottom where the deer always freshen up. i was scanning the creek when all of a sudden, kapoof shes there!!
it happened so fast and it was hard to see the doe that i didnt want to spoil my last chance at a deer this season.
i didnt wait long, she was facing me about 100 yards away, i just sighted in on her and let her have it! the other hunters told me she was bigger than most theyve ever seen!! took 4 of us to bring her up!!!!
thats my hunting experience!!! Dan!

Yeah a picture would have been great but we didnt have a camera and we gutted her right there and then!!! i would have loved to have a picture of my first deer!! oh well!! its in my memories!!
now i hunt waterfowl and deer!! soon bear,elk and moose to i hope!

next time make sure that a camera is part of your kit..
Never know if you see a family of sasquach or something..

Seriously though mate...well done. Even though you didn't have a camera with you (neither did I the first time) the "pic" will remain firmly embedded in you mind's eye mate.

the modern cellphones mostly have a not bad camera on them. congrats on the deer. still waiting for the pics of steak cooking on the barbeque.
