This is pretty frightening. I'm no fan of NYC anyway but I'll be sure to avoid it like the plague from now on!

Yup, NYC is becoming more of a nanny state lately with Bloomberg at the helm. Just last week on the news their was talk of limiting booze selling businesses, bars, restaurants, etc until the backlash came in from the businesses. www.nypost.com/p/news/...8bXpgkrapO

Ca is pretty bad...they took away our right to carry- at all! Open, unloaded or otherwise. Guess the crooks dont like competition.
NY is worse if one can believe that...just getting hands-on a HG is a HUGE undertaking. Still easy here, not counting the 10-day cool-off wait.
Werd on the Papers Comrade....that's comin' soon if we dont get these dumbasses out of office that keep running roughshod over a little thing like our BoR! Makes me wanna put one of my Redwings up a few keesters!
GOD I hate liberals....

Yeh- NJ and NY, a LOT of the people there? Seriously, someone talks to me like they do? Backhand city. Rude, unruly, big fat gas bag blabbermouths...no wonder they cant have guns, they are almost as discrete as an atom bomb. What a bunch of side-show freaks. "yo yo yo hey dayuh joey baggadonuts how ya doin fagettaboutit."

I found this very strange, and wonder if the ruling of the state are lawful.
The fact that the guns are in locked storage and permission to convey the guns are sought by the author,
would make the accusation of unlawful possession a moot point.
I also believe that the person in charge of the situation is opening themselves to a damages suit on defamation and maybe a plethora of other suites.

NYC is a foreign country just like New Jersey. Both are best avoided. All the best...

Bloomsburg may be the latest or even greatest of those in NYC to deny our 2nd Amendment rights, but to be honest this has been the case in NYC for a very long time. See the "Sullivan Act", cityroom.blogs.nytimes...ntrol-law/ New Jersey is only very slightly better. I work in New Jersey and have to leave my rights at the border every day. It's a pleasure for me to return to PA and free America at the end of each day. I'll retire in another 5 years and have absolutely no plan after that to ever enter the State of New Jersey or NYC again.

It probably is unlawful but would you like to pony up several hundred thousand dollars to prove you were right?
