It seems to me that the optics are placed rather far to the front, or is that a Leupold E.E.R.?

Same here BBlue....and the floor plate sticks out...and the square edges on the wood don't look nice, but that's the presentation stock, the shooting stock looks like a plastic shottie for bird hunting.

So if I have someone else build a barreled action with my name and a special serial number on it, have two someone elses make stocks for it, then I get to say I manufactured it?

It appears to be a very nice presentation rifle. The wood is very showy and beautifully finished. The metal work is well executed but for the non-flushing of some of the metal fixtures. The engraving is beautiful and tastefully executed. The recoil pad appears to be a bit on the sparce side and looks like an add-on for its angular appearance - even moreso than the woodwork. The foregrip is functional and tastefully done. The optics are very upper side of the market place but fit the rifle well.
A very nice presentation of the modern rifle.
Even at "one of a kind" the price is far above the value of this rifle. I hope the proceeds are going to a good cause.

The SHOT Show auction is administered by the Hunting Heritage Trust for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF ). All proceeds from the auction will benefit programs to further America's hunting and shooting sports heritage.
