I was referring to the 7mm (or is that 7.2mm) projectile, been around a long time
Not sure if anything came before the 7x57 (must have) but it was created in 1892

I'm with you on the windows but I do a lot of math.

The 7mmx57 was the first commercially made 7mm cartridge according to my notes.
