Cool Excellent case forming lube, darn close in my book for being the best made. It is used by innumerable BR Shooters and many others. Just be very very sure that All Traces of Lube are removed from the case prior to firing. It is so good that the case will not grab the chamber walls and can really beat your bolt and possibly cause major problems. Cool

The great thing about Imperial is that it wipes off very easily with just a paper towel. I also use it on the inside of the case neck about every 5th case. Makes extraction of the case much easier with no case neck stretching. After wiping off the outside of the case with a paper towel, I wipe the inside of the case neck with a Q-tip. That's all I use now for my resizing.

I've used the stuff for a long time, and I think it's excellent. I haven't run across any other case lube that works as well.
I dab a bit of the stuff on the case with my fingers.
For large volume jobs, like sizing a batch of 500 cases, it isn't the fastest stuff to use- for a job like that I use one of the spray lubes. But, for normal use, and even more for case forming, Imperial Sizing Die Wax is great stuff.

The great thing about Imperial is that when you apply with the fingers (a little goes a long ways), you get to feel the shape of the case and can feel any splits/dents/grit....etc. It also does a pretty good job of cleaning the cases up as you wipe it off.

It is now sold under the Redding name and on another site there is a running challenge to find someone who has ever used a complete tin of the stuff. I have one that goes back at least twenty years and its not half gone.

Very, very good product. I have 6 cans on hand at all times for personal use, I load my 308 benchrest rifle cartridges at the bench, and the Imperial wax is great, Like Bril cream "alittle dab'll do ya"

Crackshot....I hear you......my mom did the same thing. I could play dodge-ball at recess and get hit in the head a couple of times and the hair still stayed put. The ball just sort of mashed down the hair a bit and it would spring right back like nothing ever happened. Very Happy
