Hilarious,
The airforce always catches crap because most of us were comfortable, go figure.
I say most as the majority of my career was on helicopters and caribou's doing army support living in tents, hootchies and gun pits in on the side of a dirt airfield or paddock in the middle of BFN.
There were times I wish I was posted to a fighter SQN so I could wear raybans, flying jackets and suffer the mere 4 to 5 star accomodation they always seemed to get.
At least we had cold beer.

I would never miss sailing in seas like that, although with the way I get seasick it would be one way to loose weight.

I agree dhc4ever...I miss it mate...maybe not the digging of gun pits with small shovels, but I do miss the rest of the bush time.
