Hey Guys,

Well, after several months of waiting for all the back ordered reloading equipment to arrive, I have enough to get started. Just missing the shell plate for the 40 and the 9 MM. Very Happy

As for presses I bought two a Lee Loadmaster, and a Lee Breech Lock Challenger. Bushy, I do not know what the material is, but it seems very sturdy. Pray

I would love to get all this stuff set up this week and start some reloading next week.

However, I am paranoid, and want to do it right the first time. I have read through the Lee instructions a couple of times, it seems very complicated. Bang Head

Since I value your guys opinions, and suggestions, and other input, what advice can you offer in setting these units up. Bow

Thanks for your help in advance. Very Happy

Get a Lyman 48th or 49th reloading manual & read ALL of it.

Set me on the way to accurate & safe reloading by explaining WHY rather than just saying "do this".

I agree...Lyman's 48th or 49th Edition load data manual.

Go to www.leeprecision.com for videos that might help too.

And NO...It is not all that complicated. Or at least not rocket science anyway. It's rather simple and straight forward. Don't smoke. Don't drink. And don't let anyone or thing distract you when reloading.

Questions? Ask away...

Les, start off with the Challenger press and get comfortable with handloading before you jump on the Loadmaster. When you know for sure what each stage of the process is supposed to do the progressive will be easier to deal with. And remember that you are within "day trip range". I'll be happy to help, although finding a free day might be the trick right now.

I have the Lyman #49, Modern Reloading by Lee, and Barnes Reloading Manual, and have read them and reread some parts.

I will get them both set-up found a neat web site for the Loadmaster, loadmastervideos.com/.

But, as PSlinger mentioned I will most likely start out on the Challenger and do a few of each cartridge, and see how they shoot, or explode.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
