Vince, can’t disagree with anything you say !!! But................
I think by now Mr. KW understands that he has ruffled a few feathers.
Had I been the one doing this because of a language barrier, I would have offer my apologies long ago instead of making wise cracks about the use of fingers, GM or poor tourist !!!

I've got to say chambered is 100% right KW is making deliberate off color and unprovoked remarks. This is the second thread in a couple weeks. My wife is from Germany and I have dealt with some Europeans that have some kind of grudge against the US. They seem to think since they watch the news and read news papers that they know everything there is to know about our country. As any one that watches the news knows they only show what they think will sell.I find it hilarious that they seem to think they can run this country by just watching the news. When in reality they know absolutely nothing about our country. Now I'm not saying that all European's are like this, just a very annoying voiceterous few. Our government has made mistakes but we will ensure they are out of a job next election. I spent four years in Germany and did a lot of traveling while there, I go back to visit my in laws quite often. I would not trade my life here in the states for Europe for no reason. My wife doesn't even want to live there after enjoying our life here. I'm sure they probably feel the same way but I'm not going to degrade someones country just because of there problems I see in the new. I am guessing there problems are caused by some dumb a$$ politician like ours, I also guess the average person has no controls over the governments stupid mistake. I enjoy this forum and can't believe how friendly most of the guys are. I try not to let anyone individual spoil this.

It's too bad that it has devolved to this level. I believe that the common thread of this group is supposed to be our common interests in firearms and hunting...not political bashing. Personally, as I am sure most others do, I like hearing from persons of other nationalities (even those who speak English funny like those Brits, Canadians, Aussies, Kiwis...Just kidding guys. I love you all! ) It's a great way to broaden our horizons.
K.W. needs to realize that none of us, as individual citizens, are any more responsible for for the ills of our respective countries or manufacturing conglomerates than he is for the remarkably high suicide and alcoholism rate of his country. Every country has its problems as well as its blessings. Friends ignore the former and dwell on the latter.
wiersy...you are exactly right. My daughter and her husband are both currently living in Switzerland, tucked in the corner next to both France and Germany. They are more than a little tired of the anti-Americanisms that are fueled by the totally inaccurate and biased news reports. Thankfully, their friend-base consists mostly of open minded neighbors and well educated professionals from a wide expanse of countries who are intelligent enough to look at all of the news and apply a little intellectual filtering before making snap judgments with out tarring everyone with the same brush.
Not a bad habit to cultivate....

My guns are not brand new and I have only four pistols, two revolvers, and seven rilfles. Also one combination gun.
No need to carry a gun for defence. But I can to shoot when and so much than will to do.
P.S: Obama was a very good gun salesman, because you are fearful, if he shall to ban later assualt weapons and what ever.
