Wow, looks like a single individual did both the bombing and shooting. 92 people killed (looks like a Mini-14 got 82 of them). It took the police 90 minutes to get to the shooter. one a minute - sad. very sad.

The witnesses at the scene have been telling the media that he was armed with a M16, not the mini-14 used in his pictures.
Mind you they could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure every boy at that camp plays the same video games like every other boy in a developed nation. So I'd hope they'd recognize the guns they use in the games.

What I can't understand is why they didn't shoot him. I posed the question to my staff at line up last nite..what would you do if you were confronted with this type of incident (what we call an active shooter scenario) ...thankfully most of them said shoot him! I had one young officer ask weather or not he should be challenged ie "Stop armed Police" and my answer was - Why tip him off, he's just killed a lot of people, what if he deciedes youre next , no warning drop him!
Had a bunch of cops thinking though

You make a good point Radar, all the chaos this one guy caused would have made it easier to just eff him off. But he no longer posed an imminent threat, so they didn't just shoot him. Once he surrendereĀd their law enforcemenĀt officials know not to utilize deadly force.
One thing about this guy is that it was stated that he was anti-muslim, if he was then how come not one muslim was killed?

Very good point OV1, especially given the problems they are having in Scandinavia with the Muslim population.
On a different note...three men were charged with assault here in Australia the other day after imposing a flogging (40 lashes), under Sharia Law, on a Muslim guy for consuming alcohol. It's started out here now.
Bring on the revolution I say.

That's something I can understand. When you know who's responsible for the open border politics concerning muslims... do you know the socialistic party here in Belgikstan already gave them the right to vote the mayor... some people don't care where and how they get their votes...
and the anti-gun-gang is already on the move. Now seems to be the time for poll's asking about banning guns. A friend just asked on a public newspaper board if now it's not the time to start discussing CCW because police proved to be incapable to protect the citizens... he was immediatly removed.
Everybody is allowed to shout and to protest, except a gunowner... because when he openly gives his opinion he's considered dangerous for the community.

Thing is, seems like he wanted to be caught. To talk about his anti-multicultural and anti-muslim opinions to the police and media after the attack. He is using the system right now to further his message then if he just did the attack and people found his original rants on the internet. Because being alive he can now be a voice to spark others to join him. He has attacked the party that he (and most likely others) deem responsible for the current situation in Norway, and now he gets to plaster his message all over the media.
This isn't a "crazy" individual who goes on a killing spree because he thinks its fun, this is a guy who, although crazy, has had a clear defined goal from the start. Heck buying and using the farm, was his way to get the fertilizer in quantities needed to make a (if not several) bombs without anyone questioning why he needed it. He even mentioned that on the bits and pieces of his "manifesto" online.
Reason he managed to succeed, was because they (the intelligence and police communities) were so focused looking for Muslim terrorists, that they didn't bother to search on the internet what kind of domestic threats are out there. If they did, it wouldn't have been too hard to find this wacko.
It was Post-9/11's intelligence failure to not find him before he did the attack, because the intelligence community was so focused on their errors pre-9/11 to think about the decades of domestic terrorism in North America and in Europe.
