Watched a youtube video yesterday about the Norwegian resistance to nazi occupation.
The Nazis confiscated the entire sardine catch in either 1940 or 41 to provide a food source to uboats. The Norwegian resistance contacted the Allied SOE who sent them many barrels of Croton oil which was substituted into the sardine cans in place of the usual olive oil.
So now you have a laxitive in the Uboat fleet, 44 crew, one toilet in a type VIIC Uboat, I feel the results would be similar to the photo above only in a more confined space.

Now that is one very scary thought mate...probably where the idea for Surströmming came from. Look up the Surströmming Challenge for a good laugh.

legend has it the locals on faulkand islands did it to the main water supply....the argy bargies couldnt fight n poop at same time.....
