Just watching the USA Team take it to Ireland, if you guys can watch it on sky or something your team is doing it well and be proud.
We had a special 9/11 commemoration here in New Plymouth complete with the Marine Corp band on our national News.....lookin good

I'm a little worried about the Cup myself, Canada is in Pool A, which means the clear favorites are already NZ and France.
During the qualifying it was interesting to see though how many countries have teams, there is quite a few of them that I would not have expected. Seems like as the years pass more countries are diversifying the sports they play, not just their staples anymore.

Well, I must admit figured you'd have got the 80-something this match, after we tied Japan. So I couldn't bare to watch.
I was wrong by one point though.

The kiwi's HAD to win. Public stoning comes to mind, especially if you loose to the french, at home.
That was the best game of the world cup, 80 mins of quality rugby
Didnt know who to cheer for, the old enemy or the french, in the end rugby won.
Well done the all blacks, although I think the french were better on the night, the all blacks we more consistant through the tornament.
God there'll be no living with them over the next 4 years.

I was working last night while the game was on and believe me we were fair shiteing ourselves, because if the ABs had lost all hell would have broken loose.
I predict we would have been flooded with Disorder and Family violence calls as everyone vented their frustration.....but thank god that didn't happen. It would have made that Canadian Ice Hockey result look like a kids picnic.
But they did it......JUST!
