So I sorted my first 1000 mixed 1X fired 9mm brass. Results

8 cases damaged and tossed
4 nickle FC NT ( read they reload okay but don't last.)
4 CCI Blazer with the concave bottom (What is that all about?)
63 FC NT crimped (I swaged and tested. Primers go in easy.)
2 Speer
737 WCC
182 Win NT

When I went to prime a few just to get the feel I discovered the 3000 primers I ordered which were delivered today are RCBS ASP strips. I don't have the ASP tool and sending them back is simply a PITA. Looks like my priming is going to take a bit longer than I thought. When I get through the box, anyone want the empty strips? I see some reload them.

I didn't think you could reload the CCI Blazer cases because they were made out of aluminum. www.blazer-ammo.com/

Omni is right. Until recently, all of the Blazer ammo was loaded in aluminum cases, which means not reloadable. They do offer Blazer with reloadable brass now though ( www.blazer-ammo.com/bl...brass.aspx ). Best bet...if it isn't brass colored, pitch it in the trash.

It is brass for sure but that cupped bottom may be a problem for seating primers. I haven't tried yet but since it is only 4 pieces not sure I will even bother. BTW the empty strips are free. Heck I 'll even pay the postage.
