I took vacation this week so I could get some rest and do some fun stuff. Yesterday I actually went to the range for a while. My future son-in-law went with me. He buys/sells vintage military guns.

We played with some old CZ, Walther and Manurhin pistols in .32 and .380 ACP. An old High Power too. I shot my CZ SP01 and a Springfield XDM in .45 Auto. The .32s were fun!

Then over to the rifle range to zero an AR-15 and a Ruger Scout. S-I-L was shooting a Finnish M39. A guy beside us had a nice Winchester in .38-55 and an AR-10 in .260 Rem.

Weather was nice and I only got a little sunburn. Now I just have to figure out how I can do this weekly. I'm afraid the lottery will have to be involved for that to happen.

A bit of recoil therapy is good for the soul mate. I'm sure each and every one of us would love to be able to get to the range at least once a week, but unfortunately life gets in the way mate. I do my best to get out and do some shooting at least a couple of times a month.

Ooooh, hoping to get some range-time myself this weekend! Would be the first time out this month!!

I have my own pistol range and access to property for 200 yard rifle across the road from the house. I'm still not able to get in all that much recoil therapy as I would like or need. Damn!!

Looking forward to a bit more range time today...going to have a couple of rounds of skeet.

I need to do some reloading for my centrefires...that's another form of therapy that I enjoy.

A friend (ten years younger then me) do 6 to 10 milers in these foothills around here.

Naw...Why would I want to make you look bad on a quail hunt? I'd shoot-em all and you would get none.
