What should the scope height be set at when using iron sights? My guess is centerline of barrel to top of front sight, assuming front sight is a post. Comments?

i sporterized a Yugo vz24 but left it in 8mm. Good project. Lot's of fun. Had a little help from a guy with some experience and a few more tools but did nearly all the work myself. Here is the result.
