I would like load data for 130 grain sierra game kings for .270 win and load data for 160 grain sierra game kings for 7mm Rem Mag. I want the data straight out of the book.

may I offer an alternative? I use the Hodgdon on-line data as my go-to source and or a cross reference.

There it is straight out of the book !!!

Sorry the quality isn't a little better.
If you E-mail or call Sierra they'll E-mail you a current pdf file, currently on the 5th Edition, don't look for #6 any time soon.
I'm hoping Santa brings me #5 and the newest Hornady manual !!!

Chambered. I have the 5th Edition. The major change that I notice is that they have raised the starting charge by approximately 1 grain on most powders and have dropped some powders such as IMR-3031. And the addition of H4831 SC...

If need be, I can post those pages.

That's why its nice to have it on-line. Its the most up-to-date. Again, I like to cross reference.

WAM (wait-a-minute)!!! Bushy, you've got the 5th addition!?! Here I thought you would have had the original release.

You must be getting an adequate amount of recoil therapy lately. Last I remember, you were complaining no one respected your input.

Boy, I'm awnry today. Must be the lack of sleep caused by my new assignment

BTW, I know the correct spelling is "ornery" so don't jump my case Bushy

Huh? What?? Me??? Spelling nazi???? Naw???? Couldn't be Me....

I prefer yer first spelling (awnry). Very Happy

All of my manuals are up to date as much as I can keep them. I do have a 1984 load manual. Some of the loadings in it would scare ya.

Take a gander at this loading for the 270 win from the 1967 lymans #44, look at what they give for imr 4381 130gr load!!!!

The question you have to ask yourself is...Is that H4831 or IMR4831...?? Just "4831" does not tell ya much...

Yup, if you get a new handloader trying to stuff H4831 into the case instead of imr 4831, I think he will have problems.

Thanks for the info. I am hoping santa brings me sierras newest reloading manuel as well. I have the newest hornady, speer and I believe the newest nosler so I am set. I also have older editions of all three and the 47th lyman book. I have also printed out the charts for all guns I have from hodgdons website as well but I did not see the Sierra bullets listed on the charts. Anyhow if anyone needs any info from the books I have to offer I would be more then willing to share.
