Took a hard digger into a BIG boulder in some tight stuff....old guy + speed + tight turns = BLOOD. Laughing We clean our wounds the old school way...w/ a stick! Shocked

Keep up the great work sir! Gonna incorperate some hiking soon with biking to build up hip and back muscles. Good to go for quail and chukar coming in October. I bumped two pairs of moutain quail in Idyllwild- they were super vocal and answering our calls/whistles all over the place and bumped some Valleys on Saturday down here...good night they look GOOD from the rains we got...man am I hungry!!!

Stovey...carry a toothbrush mate. They are great for cleaning out wounds the old school painful way...even better with a splash of isopropyl alcohol to kill the germs mate.

Seriously though...when out snorkeling, whenever we got a nasty scrape from some coral, out would come the toothbrush. You have to clean the wound out thoroughly or it will become infected and a toothbrush is ideal for the job.

Cheers, Vince

Vince, are you sure IPA can be used for cleaning wounds? For me it was something to clean the heads of a video-recorder...

It's my understanding that IPA is OK to use for wound cleansing...but boy does it sting.

The other option is to use iodine.

That's true, Eremius...But then there's me. For general sipping I prefer Early Times Select (when I can find it).
