Its a sad world when people are so fixated on their agenda they suppress the truth.

As climatologists worry about the effects of global warming, Antarctica has quietly set a new record for the greatest sea ice extent ever measured at either pole, according to various sources.

“NSIDC (National Snow and Ice Data Center) seems disinterested in their own data, choosing instead to write stories about Penguins being threatened by declining Antarctic sea ice,” states the web site Real Science

stevengoddard.wordpres...cord-high/

“If current trends continue, the earth will be completely covered with ice much faster than the climate models predicted.”

“Anyone wonder why NOAA isn’t making a fuss about this?” adds the website Sunshine Hours

sunshinehours.wordpres...t-in-2012/

Steve Goreham, executive director of the Climate Science Coalition of America and author of the new book “The Mad, Mad, Mad World of Climatism: Mankind and Climate Change Mania” argued that the finding appears to challenge the theory of climatism, or a belief that man-made greenhouse gases are destroying earth’s climate.

“It’s interesting that climate scientists are so alarmed by declining Arctic ice. The Arctic Icecap is only 1 to 2 percent of Earth’s ice, while the elephant, the Antarctic Icecap, contains about 90 percent of Earth’s ice,” he wrote on the website phillyBurbs.com

“The climate models underestimated the decline in Arctic ice, but they are confounded by the growth in Antarctic ice," he explained.

A friend of mine calls it "glo-BULL warming". I think its a way to charge people good money for imaginary "carbon credits".

The rise in Antarctic sea ice isn't that great at 0.6% per decade, especially compared to Arctic sea ice decline at 10% per decade.
I don't dispute climate change is happening but I certainly DO challenge the idea that it is anthropomorphic.
Of course if the latter IS the case, then removing 60% of the Earth's human population is the only guaranteed cure; not something any politician anywhere is likely to advocate.
Nature will probably manage it though, as antibiotics become ineffective due to misuse/overuse. There are several TB strains resistant to most treatments already.

Yes, Al Gore, the Congressman that questioned Col North about why he had an alarm system in his house to protect him from terrorist. And yes, how could a terrorist name Osama Bin Laden be that great a threat. That episode has been erased from the records.

The national solar observatory says the sun is getting hotter by a degree or so every year.... That may be a reason for some of our climate change. but on the other side of the equation is that if the actic loses much more ice then europe will get colder and the sahara could get wetter again. We might be importing corn from the arabs instead of oil..... ;^)

Aah sh*t...! As the earth warms and cools farming moves north then south. Big deal.

Always remember that after each warming comes an ice age. Got yer winter coat handy?

Global warming at the hands of mankind is a crock of sh1te as far as I am concerned.

Pete put it right out there in one hit...Govts have found a way to tax the air we breathe, and the UN is behind the majority of it...they are getting a massive cut (or will) of all carbon taxes collected in a few years...they will become a very very rich organisation.

Cheers, Vince

our glaciers are definatly retreating back up the valleys but it doesnt worry me much. the human race manipulates the enviroment to suit them selves. if we get more sunlight/heat well solar power will be king
more wind put up turbines
ice age??? no need for a fridge to keep the beer cold....
see the positive side to any of the BS out there and make sure your kids hear that point of view. I drove all day spreading fert on a farm that was a river bed and that is only one of many we do.

Turbine farms....buwahahaha. Out here they were all the tree-huggin rage. Till the maintenace bills come, half are down for repairs and the other half are causing bird strike deaths so now the tree-huggers are lobbying to yank them. There's one in the pass out here by Morongo w/ gajillions of them. I think at peak the whole lot makes enough power to charge and 9V battery a mile away. The solar/mirros thing was debunked too, unreliable and unsustatinable and impossible to maintain- costs are insane....folks dont realize power has to get from the desert to the homes....2-300 miles at times and the tiny bit it makes will never get here through the cables.

Global Warming is real. It's also marketable and profitable. Ice Ages that come after? Not so much. Idiots that stay glued to the tube never realise others that have been here longer than them know that this planet MAKES IT'S OWN CLIMATE WITH OR WITHOUT US.

STUPID LIBERALS!

They are building a new solar steam generation plant just South of Las Vegas. We will have to see how well that one does.
