I heard you had lots of turkeys down under - OK, they don't have feathers and they wear suits and work in parlimentary buildings but they are definately turkeys.

Congrats !!!
I'm confused...........how was you able to kill that thing without a camo 4 inch chambered 12ga. with a super ultra extra tight extended ported compensated choke tube thingy ???

maybe you are confused... but some people do aim before pulling the trigger...
and others have this disease, sometimes called "maximitis"...
the first ones travel light but do big things, the others all complain about their backs and always want more lead and do funny things to avoid kicking...

here in Kiwiland the most common way of harvesting a gobbler for the pot is to creep up to their roosting spot (often a farm gate) in the wee small hours and grab one or two while they are sound asleep!!!!
not really sporting but a heck of alot of fun none the less!!!!
