hot here with strong wind so am sitting at home as fert was getting blown all over the show instead of where I was trying to sow it. try again at daylight.

We've been pretty short on snow in this area also this year. About 30 above and no wind today. Was a good day to chase some grouse with puppy dog.
So we did. You all in the snow and cold belt stay safe.

Same here, lack of snow and rain so far this winter and actually southern Oregon and northern California have a red flag fire warning because of it. Sort of unheard of (especially in Oregon) this time of year. A bit of wind and dry air would be nice around here to blow this awful fog away. It's been foggy for weeks on end with air stagnation advisories and the white people are getting whiter by the minuet. I need to get out and do some shooting, some sun would be very very nice. It's been nice on the coast though and near 60 degrees whine whine whine whine..........

I thought it was on wednesday, it hit 40 deg (104f).

Plurry hell, it's still-30C (-22F) and there isn't any relief until about Saturday when it will go to -6C (21F) and then back to -16C (3F) for the nxt 6 days.

RePete where are you? Get the heck outa there! Hope ya have lots of hot steaming oatmeal, maple syrup, coco with marshmallows and a hot fire in the stove. A large warm dog wouldn't be outa the question either unless you got another supply of body heat available.
I awoke to sunshine today! but it's in the 20s, still nice to see some geese and ducks flyin around.

We got a sifting of snow this morning - it could have been freezing fog but it did resemble snow. Still below freezing with a layer of fog. No wind to speak of and it has been about two weeks since we have seen any proof that the sun hasn't gone out. It is supposed to be clear and sunny tomorrow - again....I think I will believe that when I wake up to sunshine... say in April?
