My son is home on leave between orders with USMC and managed to scout and set an ambush for this bruiser in less than a week.
Ooooh Rah Marine.

I'll take either one!
What's the spread measure on that rack?
Or both

I am out in New Jersey traveling and have not gotten the rack measurements yet but the beast was 220 pounds field dressed. Pushing 300# on the hoof!!! That is a lot of deer jerky.

Was curious cause a friend of mine just got a muley with a 34 inch spread, don't know what it weighs. He's entering in a contest for a rifle (if his is the biggest).
HHhhhmmmm....I can smell the steaks now.....mmmMMMmmmmm

Muleys have a lot bigger racks than white tails but that is a big deer.
I would guess this guy as a 150" total range. Inside spread about 24".
A guy from that area who had this buck on his hit list sent me some trail cam pictures from two years ago and he had more mass then and would have gone over 160" then.
It happens when we get older....

DD, a question: is that John Deer -camo? I would expect more green, but that logo...
And it seems your son is teaching us the new trick of wearing the sign of the game you're after and it seems to give good results.
never too old to learn new tricks...
